Tacoma Country & Golf Club
This is the oldest private golf club west of the Mississippi River. Located in Lakewood, Tacoma Country & Golf Club does not scrimp on maintaining its golf course. The natural drainage makes this one of the driest winter coursed in the Pacific Northwest.
Oakbrook Golf & Country Club
This 18-hole course provides a fair test of golf for a variety of skill levels in Lakewood. There are 56 bunkers on the course. Hole 13 is Oakbrook's signature hole; 172 yard par 3 with an elevated tee. Water protects the front of the green with bunkers on both sides of the green. Old growth Douglas fir trees surround the hole, giving this signature hole a very Northwest feeling.
Canterwood Golf and Country Club
This 18 hole golf course is located outside Gig Harbor was founded in 1988 and has all the amenities you would expect of a private country club. It has been voted "Sixth Best Golf Course in the State of Washington" by Golf Digest, as well as being rated the 2nd toughest golf course in the state.
Fircrest Golf Club
Located just West of Tacoma with an 18-hole layout that has stood the test of time for more than 80 years, a state-of-the-art clubhouse and a convenient location for the modern-day world, Fircrest Golf Club fits perfectly among the premier private golf clubs in the Puget Sound region. The Arthur Vernon Macan-designed course opened in 1924 and continues to provide golf's best with a championship challenge while offering unending variety to its every-day members.
